The Eagle River Watershed Council holds monthly forums, dubbed Watershed Wednesday, highlighting water issues affecting Eagle County. Filming of Watershed Wednesday is made possible by the Eagle River Water and Sanitation District. The Watershed Council also has produced several documentaries in collaboration with High Five Access Media, including the award-winning Heart of Vail, Edwards Restoration Project and From the Outside Looking In: Exploring the Eagle Mine Superfund Site.
The Watershed Council advocates for the health and conservation of the Upper Colorado and Eagle River basins through research, education, and projects.
