This program documents the multi-year project of the Eagle River Watershed Council to narrow, deepen and cool the Eagle River through Edwards. For years, this stretch of river suffered from excessively high stream temperatures due to a naturally wide and shallow channel that was exacerbated by cattle that had denuded stream side vegetation, as well as urban development. These impacts resulted in fewer trout and insects. Funding for this video provided by the Edwards Metro District.
