High Five Access Media provides free, live coverage of Vail Town Council meetings so you and your town may stay engaged with the democratic process.
This coverage stems from a franchise agreement between the town and Comcast, which uses cables buried in your public land to distribute their signal. In return, they provide a PEG (Public, Educational, Governmental) access television station on Channel 5, and give a portion of profits to the town to support a PEG station, High Five Access Media.
We also partner with the town to record Planning and Environmental Commission and Design and Review Board meetings, as well as other videos of interest to Vail residents and visitors.
All meetings replay several times on local cable channel 5, Live on Five, Roku, and are available on demand here and on your OTT (over the top) device. Closed captions available for meetings.
