More than 90 percent of the global population breathes air exceeding World Health Organization pollution standards. Dr. Jason West is a Professor of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He leads interdisciplinary research connecting climate change, air pollution, energy, and human health, and speaks and writes publicly on these topics.
